4 Good Reasons to Get the Asus Eee PC 1005HA 10.1 Inch Netbook

1. Cutting-edge Specs: I wouldn't go as far as saying that the Asus Eee PC 1005HA netbook is the fastest computer in the market, but it does have almost all of the latest specifications for a netbook. First of all it is powered by the Intel Atom N280 processor (1.66Ghz), which is currently the fastest processor for a netbook. It comes with 1GB of RAM, 802.11n wi-fi capabilities, Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity and a 1.3MP webcam. If you are someone who only uses the computer for checking the mail, surf the web and perform simple word processing, the Asus Eee PC 1005HA netbook can adequately serve as your main computer.

2. Good Looks: Finally, Asus has decided to breakaway from its old chunky design (in older models). The new Asus Eee PC 1005HA netbook has a new sleek 'seashell' design. The thickest part is in the middle of the netbook, as it gradually becomes thinner towards the edges. Thanks to this new design revamp, this model is arguably one of the best looking models in the market. They come in black, blue, pink and white.

3. Good Keyboard Design: When netbooks were first launched, the cramped keyboard was one of the main reasons I stayed away from them. Fortunately, the keyboards on newer models are just getting better and better. The keyboard of the Asus Eee PC 1005HA netbook is currently one of the best in the market. It is 92% the size of a full keyboard, and most importantly has an almost full-sized right shift key. The keyboard feels very good to type on.

4. Amazing Battery Life: The average lifespan of regular laptops in the market is about 2 or 3 hours. Because of that, laptops aren't as portable as they can be. The battery on the Asus Eee PC 1005HA netbook can last up to 10.5 hours for the PU1X model and 8.5 hours for the VU1X model. We usually take the manufacturer's claims with a pinch of salt, but I did manage to squeeze about 8.5 hours out of my PU1X model and that is very impressive by any standards (I was watching videos, replying some email and downloading some movies).
